  1. Nunca levantar ou pendurar a bike segurando apenas pela parte da cima do selim. Este infelizmente \u00e9 um erro comum (imaginem uma bike de BTT depois de um passeio ou competi\u00e7\u00e3o com as rodas cheias de lama onde o peso da pr\u00f3pria bike chega a triplicar). A uni\u00e3o da parte da cima aos carris num selim em carbono, \u00e9 feita atrav\u00e9s de uma colagem estrutural preparada para aguentar todas as flex\u00f5es e tor\u00e7\u00f5es do sentido cima \u2192 baixo. Neste capitulo encaixam tamb\u00e9m as famosas selfies com a bike pendurada numa arvore pelo selim. A garantia n\u00e3o abrange este tipo de situa\u00e7\u00e3o!<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Never leave the bike leaning against a wall or fence. In these situations almost always the bike turns over to the side and the most salient elements, namely the saddle and handlebar, get affected by the impact (when the handlebar rotates, the saddle gets the biggest blow). If you don’t have a place to leave your bike, it´s better to lay it down on the ground. This type of a situation is not covered by warranty!<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Nunca passar por buracos, lombas, ou piso em muito mau estado, completamente sentado. Nestas situa\u00e7\u00f5es deve aliviar um pouco a tens\u00e3o no selim ou de prefer\u00eancia pedalar em p\u00e9. Embora absorva grande parte das irregularidades do solo, ao passar neste tipo de piso sentado, o carbono pode ceder. A garantia n\u00e3o abrange este tipo de situa\u00e7\u00e3o!<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Manufacturer’s installation recommendations should be strictly adhered to at all times. Comply with the torque values indicated by the seat post manufacturers. In many cases, it seems you could use another 1 cm of the front or rear rails and the saddle ends up being fitted beyond the safety zone (this will result in a huge lever that will cause the rails to break). This type of a situation is not covered by warranty!<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Whenever possible choose a compatible seatpost, preferably with carbon-tight fittings, but never use the aluminum ?half-moon”. Many brands have opted for the “half moon” system in aluminum, but on carbon rails it works like a guillotine. Never use a seatpost whose lower rail clamping base is less than 30mm long (the larger the contact area between the rails and the seatpost clamping system, the better).

  6. I<\/span>Montar o selim apenas no tipo de bike para qual foi desenvolvido. Esta \u00e9 uma pratica que infelizmente acontece co alguma frequ\u00eancia no BTT onde para ganharem algumas 10g os utilizadores arriscam o pr\u00f3prio selim.   7. Never attempt to repair a damaged saddle. All repairs must be carried out by the manufacturer and the saddle should always be accompanied by the purchase invoice. In a situation where a skilled friend “finds a way” to repair a fractured saddle that is still under warranty, the warranty expires. This type of a situation is not covered by warranty!<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Nunca utilizar qualquer tipo de solvente na lavagem do selim. A prote\u00e7\u00e3o superficial dos nossos selins \u00e9 a base de verniz poliuretano preparado para as radia\u00e7\u00f5es solares e para o desgaste normal resultado da fric\u00e7\u00e3o com os cal\u00e7\u00f5es. A limpeza deste material deve ser feita sempre com \u00e1gua e nunca com solventes (acetona, diluentes, benzina, etc). A garantia n\u00e3o abrange este tipo de situa\u00e7\u00e3o!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>
