Gelu – Dracon, XC Hardtail BTT

In this project we wanted to bring together the best that is done in Portugal, with the aim of building a super bike, capable of rivaling the best brands of today, and the result is this true “machine” assembled “a la carte”, with components top and with several “gourmet” details.
Some details, such as the frame and the saddle, all of them polished and without any varnish or paint on the surface, precisely to show the quality of the construction where the alignment of the fibers is symmetrically perfect, the letters that make up our logo and the coat of arms made in laser-cut 1K carbon and “embossed” on the frame itself, make this bike a real piece of jewelry.
However, there is a very important feature that is actually the main purpose of this project: almost all the components (carbon) are made by us in Portugal, or by other portuguese brands!
In terms of performance, the experts’ opinion was unanimous: this is a genuine climber, which overcomes the steepest climbs as if it were an e-bike!
At just over 7kg, this mount places our DRACON among the lightest in the world in its category, although this was not our main objective.
